IT Assistant Manager

• This role will provide support and complex solutions in areas such as Linux servers management, Web Server, Mail Server, MySQL, File Server (AFP & Samba), BASH scripting, Monitoring, Security, Squid Proxy, Routing, Load Balancing, Firewall and DNS configuration.
• The successful candidate will be a LINUX engineer with experiences in computer networks and data communications with a focus on Linux / UNIX Operating systems, primarily Ubuntu or RedHat and MacOS X.

Skills/ Experience Required:

• Complete understanding of the Linux/Unix system and underlying server applications such as Apache, Postfix/QMail, MySQL, FileServer, Router, Firewall and DNS.
• Complete understanding of the MacOS X system
• A good knowledge of Network Monitoring and Management utilities, as well as security.
• Superb interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills a must
• Ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines set by various divisions of the company
• Good knowledge of Video Format Codecs and Conversion using MacOS X.
• Has experience with Final Cut Pro / Adobe Premiere / Avid Media Composer.

General Requirements:

• Male
• Hold min S1 Degree from reputable university
• Min 5 years working experiences in relevant field
• Good analytical, communication and problem solving skills
• Able to work independently and team
