Starting from “Intisari”, first published in August 7th 1963, Group of Magazine – Kompas Gramedia has become one of the biggest periodical tabloid & magazine in Indonesia.

Group of Magazine – Kompas Gramedia is focused to publish their edition, periodically and until now Group of Magazine – Kompas Gramedia owns more than 30 tabloid and magazines.

To strengthen its position, Group of Magazine – Kompas Gramedia expand into other area which is in line with its core business, such as printed media, electronic media, digital initiative, events and communities.

Now, we are looking for talents who thrive in a dynamic, exciting and ever changing environment, for License Lifestyle Media to fill these following positions :


ART DIRECTOR (AD) :

1. Associated Degree from related fields

2. Good ability in graphic design technique

3. Able to work on InDesign application is required

4. Software proficiency in InDesign, Adobe PhotoShop and Freehand, Illustrator etc

5. Proficient in English both oral & written or other foreign languages

6. Min. 2 years experience as an Art Director in an advertising agency or press media

7. Min. 2 years experience in managing Graphic Designers

REPORTER (REP) :

1. Bachelor Degree from related fields

2. Good ability in writing

3. Proficient in English both oral & written or other foreign languages

4. Min. 1 year experience as a Reporter / Editorial Staff

PHOTOGRAPHER (PHO) :

1. Associated Degree from related fields

2. Good ability in photography techniques

3. Proficient in English both oral & writtenor other foreign languages

4. Min. 1 year experience as a photographer in a press media

GRAPHIC DESIGNER (GD) :

1. Associated Degree from any fields

2. Good ability in PageMaker, InDesign, Photoshop, Freehand and any other graphic design software

3. Able to work on InDesign application is required

4. Min. 1 year experience as a Graphic Designer

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (AE) :

1. Bachelor Degree from any fields

2. Having interest in sales & marketing  field

3. Responsible for achieving sales target

4. Excellent communication & presentation skill

5. Having capability to buid good networking

6. Proficient in  English both oral and written or other foreign languages

PROMOTION (PRO) :

1. Bachelor Degree from any fields

2. Having interest in event/promotion activities

3. Have a good communication  and networking

4. Proficient in  English both oral and written or other foreign languages

SECRETARY (SEC) :

1. Associated Degree from secretary/administration/related fields

2. Able to work on Ms. Office aplication is a must

3. Proficient in  English both oral and written or other foreign languages

4. Experience as a Secretary is an advantage

    Networking is the most effective way to finding any type of employment! We hear a lot about networking and it is absolutely crucial whether starting a job search. In today's competitive job market, 60% of the jobs are found through networking. But just what is networking?

    First Contact
    Networking is about making contact with the people you know and the people they know. According to a recent research regarding a US-base multinational company with 5,000 employees, 50% of their junior/senior staff were hired through referrals by existing employees. All vacancies in big corporations are posted internally before being advertised. This is called "Reverse Networking" by big employers and saves them immense costs in job advertisements. This is a common practice with all the big employers across the globe.

    Map out your direction
    Remember, when networking, you are not asking for a job, you are merely asking, "who do you know that I should contact?" It's important to have a clear objective in mind when you're networking stay focused on your career direction: -
    • What occupation are you pursuing?
    • What information are you seeking?
    • Which companies are you trying to reach?
    • Who would be an excellent lead for you?
    Be very clear and specific about this before you go to your next association or business meeting, networking event or cocktail party. The results will surprise you. If you're not sure what you want, try saying, "I'm in transition and looking at different opportunities available to me," instead of saying "I just need any kind of a job." Use every opportunity to network. Networking is an ongoing process, even after you get a job, and it helps you obtain future jobs. Also try to keep building your network continuously.

    Additional Networking tips
    Assume everyone is important, because they are! Develop your small talk conversation skills. Listen carefully. Introduce the person you just met to someone else. Always carry business cards, even if you're between jobs! Periodically follow up with people you've met with a phone call or note.
